The Building Builders Mentorship Program is British Columbia’s first-of-its-kind, 1-to-1 "conversational" mentorship program that connects Mentees interested in construction trades with skilled experts and leaders in the BC construction industry.
The program focuses on open discussion and career guidance rather than structured lessons or hands-on technical training. Mentees can build their professional network, set career goals, and gain valuable insight into BC's construction industry. While the program supports career development, it is not an employment or job-placement program.

Why Become a Mentor?
A Mentor is a leader and a guide who supports their Mentee's professional development in BC's construction industry. Mentors serve as a valuable resource, helping to open doors and support others on their career path. Each volunteer Mentor commits to at least one hour of mentoring time per month over a six-month mentorship.
Being a Mentor doesn't mean having all the answers. The role is to listen, encourage, and support a Mentee's growth through conversation and guidance. Mentors help Mentees work towards their goals and shape the career path that is right for them.Why Become a Mentee?
A Mentee is someone new to construction or looking to advance with guidance from an experienced industry professional. Mentees seek support, knowledge, and opportunities to grow their network.
With a volunteer Mentor's guidance, Mentees can build confidence, set goals, navigate challenges, and gain clarity on their career path in BC's construction industry.
Mentees commit to at least six hours of mentorship and regular communication with the Building Builders team, who are dedicated to supporting the next generation of construction professionals.
